Marcus Biography

I began writing a couple of years ago when an overwhelming feeling overcame my inner-being and told me to write meaningful stories that would empower and inspire people to conquer their dreams as well. My mother (Loretta M. Thomas) was dying at that particular time and on her death bed (in my home where she wanted to be when she passed on), she encouraged me to keep writing as long as it made me happy. So I've dedicated my book "The Student of a Woman:Yet a Man of Principles" to her life which explains how men learn valid lessons, principles and how to love from women as well as from other experiences, thankyou Mom!
"Tears of Frustrations:The Unheard Voices of Many Men Crying in the Dark" is now available at publishamerica.com and will be at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Alibris, Booksamillion.com,etc. December 8, 2009 alongside my previous two books.
I am currently working on another book entitled "Silent Hope: The Courage of a Teenage Mother"

What About The Children”, is a fiction novel that shows different situations our youth face in their everyday lives. Today, children grow faster and learn more, at an earlier age. Oftentimes, parents are so consumed with their own lives; they are inattentive and fail to notice the needs of their children. We, as parents, need to be more engaged than ever in the lives of our children. We need to lead them and not expect them to lead themselves.   We must earn their respect by first respecting them. We have to slow down long enough to help them grasp life, so they can have a prosperous and successful future. My prayer is that this book will address that, as well as help us to reposition our way of thinking when it comes to our children.
